One of my favorite ToteSavvy features is its large velcro pocket. It’s so versatile, and it can hold a lot of stuff! Here are 6 ways to use this pocket:
Cloth diapers - Cloth diapers, while wonderful, are bulky. The velcro pocket has extra room to store several cloth diapers, perfect for those days when you’re gone for a while.
A change of clothes - There will be times, especially in the very beginning, when you may need to change your shirt or change your baby’s entire outfit. This pocket is large enough to fit an outfit for your child, and an extra shirt for you. I can also imagine this pocket being useful for when you’re at an amusement park and maybe taking layers on and off throughout the day.
Lunch - Recently, I bought A.J. a Lunchbots lunch box. My friends (who have elementary aged children) love them for their kids, so I decided to buy one for my daughter. I love the compact design of this lunchbox, as opposed to other lunch boxes that are practically a mini briefcase. Despite its size, you can fit a ton of food. If I cut it into triangles, I can fit an entire peanut butter and jelly sandwich in one of the small compartments! They come in lots of configurations and are dishwasher safe.
Entertainment - This pocket is perfect for packing some toys and games for your child. It’s big enough to fit crayons, a notepad, a couple of books, some Legos...whatever you need.
Seasonal Items - Depending on the season, you may need a few key items to get through the day. In the summer, this pocket is a great place for a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. In the winter, put a hat and mittens in the pocket just in case.
Mom’s essentials - Sometimes you may want all of your things in one place. The pocket is big enough to fit everything you need for your day: your wallet, phone, cosmetic pouch, and some snacks. It leaves the other pockets free for your child(ren).
